The Umbrella

This apartment consist of 12 units focusing on a sense of space instead of individual taste, this influences our methodology and provides us with the technical ability to realise our design. We try to create synergy between exterior and interior with the functional and spatial needs influencing the external form of the building. Units are planned to achieve maximum efficiency and flexibility of spaces. The careful study of wind and natural ventilation and lighting creates a homely feel, and the same sensitivity to details is carried all along the functional aspects of the buildings. The façade is articulated with various carefully mapped planes that are rendered with tones of wenge, giving the perception of enhanced depth and creating an interplay of light and shadow which stands unique from rest of the buildings
